Shazzle Introduces Phone Calls to Its ShazzleChat Platform

The Feature Will Launch December 24th for Android Users and in January for iOS

(Scottsdale, Ariz. – December 24, 2020). ShazzleChat, the world’s first chat application that allows completely private peer-to-peer messaging, announced today that they are adding phone calls to their platform.

Thanks to the same patented technology used in their messaging service, ShazzleChat creates a private communication layer that allows senders and receivers to connect directly between devices via a peer-to-peer network. This communication layer essentially turns your phone into a private server, ensuring users can make phone calls with complete privacy.

“At Shazzle, we are always looking for ways to help users take back their privacy,” Shazzle founder Cliff Boyle said in a statement. “Thanks to ShazzleChat’s new phone call feature, users can feel confident their phone calls will remain private for the first time.”

This new feature launches at a time when people are more concerned about their online privacy than ever. According to a recent study by Consumer Reports, 43 percent of Americans who own a smartphone believe their phone is recording conversations without their permission. ShazzleChat ensures that no one, including the company itself, can ever see your messages or listen to your calls. The connection occurs only between your device and the device of the person you are communicating with.

“Privacy and security have always been important to us,” said Boyle. “People shouldn’t have to question whether the connections they are using are secure and free of threats.”

Phone calls will launch within the ShazzleChat app on December 24th for Android users. They will launch January 15th for iOS users.

Shazzle launched in May 2020 and to date has 50,000 downloads.
